Rice Greenhouse
Visitors are welcome in the Rice Greenhouse year round. It is also used by the Education department for both horticulture and art classes.
Winter outside view of the greenhouse
The newly replaced glass sparkles in the winter sunshine.
In summer, the outside becomes a display garden too.
Inside are plants from a variety of ecosystems - including tropical and desert. Amongst them is the banana, seen right, that is featured in outside container plantings in the summer.
