Did you know it takes many volunteers to make the Garden grow. We need you! and ask a friend to join you!

Harvest Festival - This annual event requires about 400 volunteers! Whatever your talents, we can use your help -- there are jobs for volunteers before, during and after the event. As many will tell you, it's great fun and very important to the Garden. Please lend us a hand!

Gift Shop & Admissions - Volunteers are needed to greet visitors and ring up sales in the Gift Shop. Reliability and enjoyment of people are essential. Cash register experience is helpful, but we will train.

Horticulture - It takes many hands to keep our display gardens looking good. Working with our staff is a great way to learn all aspects of annual and perennial maintenance while providing an invaluable service to the Garden.

Membership & Development - Volunteers are needed to assist on a regular basis with routine tasks related to membership and fundraising.

Herb Associates -This group of volunteers meets each Tuesday morning from mid-April to mid-October to grow and harvest herbs and make fresh and dried products for sale in our Gift Shop. You are welcome to join them and learn about herbs.

Computer Technology - Volunteers are needed to help with technical tasks including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, installing hardware and software, updating our web site, and data entry.

For information about these or other volunteer opportunities, please call Roxanne Gawthrop at 413-298-3926.
