Wind ShearThis year the Garden continues its celebration of the elements with Windswept, an exhibit that celebrates the beauty of wind and the art that it inspires. With the help of Natalie and Greg Randall of R.T. Facts located in Kent, Connecticut, (who brought us the popular sundials and armillaries exhibit in 2012), we have collected over a dozen pieces that range from early, antique weathervanes to modern kinetic sculptures and includes a little bit of everything in between. These pieces aren’t just displayed in the Garden, they live there, responding to the wind in one way or another, be it sound, movement, light or all three. Yellow Zinger

We are honored to have the works of Jim LaPaso, Suzanne Heilmann, Tim Prentice, Jeff Kahn, Richard Griggs and the artful eye of R.T. Facts, here at the Berkshire Botanical Garden for the duration of our 2014 season.  This exhibit is free with the price of general Garden admission and all of the pieces are available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Garden.

If you have any questions regarding this or any other Garden exhibit, please call the office at 413.298.3926.
