Working with colored pencils, you will be guided by botanical artist Carol Ann Morley, step-by-step from sketch to finished tulips. This four-part class will include live instructional time and class critique and will  focus on observing the underlying form of colored subjects, beginning with tonal graphite studies; how to select the right colors to create a colored palette and techniques for layering colored pencils to achieve the glowing colors of Dutch tulips. Once registered, attendees will be provided with a photograph of the Dutch tulips along with a materials list.
