Fall Trees in Watercolor Workshop

When:
Sept. 21, 2022 2 p.m. to Oct. 26, 2022 5 p.m.
Where:

Berkshire Botanical Garden Education Center

Wednesdays, September 21 through October 26, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Join us for six sessions with beloved watercolor artist Pat Hogan. Capture the changing colors of the season in watercolor. This workshop combines the best of both worlds with both studio and plein air available. Rainy forecast? No worries. In this inside/outside workshop, we will have the challenge and fun of plein air paired with the comfort of the studio. This time we are exploring the BBG fabulous collection of trees! Come with curiosity, camera, sketchpad, and watercolor kit. Materials list is available on our website.

Pat Hogan’s work is inspired by nature, particularly the Berkshires, the Maine Coast and the vanishing islands of the Chesapeake Bay. Each unique landscape provides a stunning connection with the beauty of our earth and wildlife and the chaos associated with climate change and human disregard for sustaining a healthy planet.

Please note that financial aid is available for all BBG classes. Use this link and please read the instructions carefully. Or contact Director of Education Bridgette Stone at bstone@berkshirebotanical.org

From the Instructor: Watercolor Supplies. These are merely suggestions. If you are experienced, please bring the materials you like.
