The lawn surrounding the Garden's Education Center is transformed into a bustling Botanical Barnyard on Friday and Saturday, October 9 and 10, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., when Mountain Top Zoo of Stamford, Vermont visits with their menagerie of farm and exotic animals including potbellied pigs, sheep, goats, cattle, a llama and donkey, reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs and an emu feeding station. Special guests will be rheas Ben and Gerry — flightless birds related to the ostrich and emu, and native to South America.
