Winter Watercolor

When:
Wednesday, February 11, 2026 to Wednesday, March 18, 2026
Where:

Berkshire Botanical Garden

Join Pat Hogan on Wednesdays, Feb. 11 to March 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a winter watercolor series at Berkshire Botanical Garden. Let’s celebrate the crystal beauty of the Berkshire Botanical Garden in the winter landscape, like painting “breath on glass” as James McNeill Whistler described his ethereal work. Inspired by the frozen pond, snow-capped buildings and blanketed fields, we will focus our watercolor practice on the soft, subtle, suggestive palette of winter in the Berkshires.

Pat Hogan’s work is inspired by nature, particularly the Berkshires, the Maine Coast and the vanishing islands of the Chesapeake Bay. Each unique landscape provides a stunning connection with the beauty of our earth and wildlife and the chaos associated with climate change and human disregard for sustaining a healthy planet.
