Harvest Basket Community Contest

Show Off Your Fall Flair!

Celebrate the beauty of the season with our Harvest Basket Design Contest, where creativity meets autumn’s bounty! Participants are invited to craft a unique basket arrangement that captures the warmth, colors and textures of the harvest season.

Your basket can feature fresh fruits and vegetables, dried flowers, seasonal foliage, canned goods and jams, or any creative elements that reflect the spirit of fall. All plant material and goods must be grown/created by the entrant (though there is flexibility here, if you are struggling to find material in your garden). There is no fee to enter!

Whether rustic and traditional or modern and whimsical, each design should tell its own seasonal story.

Contest Highlights and Guidelines:

  • Theme: Autumn harvest and seasonal abundance
  • Judging Criteria: Creativity, craftsmanship, use of seasonal elements, and overall presentation
  • Basket Size: Between 10 inches long and 6 inches wide by 3 inches tall, and 16 inches long by 9 inches wide by 5-1/4 inches tall (with some flexibility). Entries must be placed in a basket or bowl.

  • How to Enter:  Drop off your basket at the Visitor Center on Oct. 7, 8 or 9, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
