Berkshire Botanical Garden’s 88th annual Harvest Festival, an iconic Berkshire event dating back to our founding, will take place Oct. 7-8, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, at the Garden located at 5 West Stockbridge Road (intersection of Routes 102 and 183), Stockbridge, Mass. NOTE: No advanced registration is required.
The Harvest Festival will include continuous family entertainment; a giant tag sale featuring repurposed, gently used household items, clothing and jewelry; and an expanded plant sale and farmers market. Children’s activities include hayrides; pony rides; a haunted house; an obstacle course; interactive music with Robie Bones; giant bubbles; pumpkin painting; pumpkin tossing; a hay maze; a vintage fire truck; face painting and Balloon Ben; Berkshire Waldorf School's puppet wagon; a hay jump; aerialists demonstrations by Berkcirque; cider press and photo op; petting zoo; interactive music; roving entertainers, and, back by popular demand, “The Pocket Lady.”
BBG’s Harvest Festival has earned a reputation for being a quintessential Berkshire family event celebrating the autumn harvest, when the 24-acre Garden is transformed into a vibrant hub featuring family fun and over 100 regional artisan food and craft vendors. Admission to the Harvest Festival is $10 cash for adults; children under 12 are admitted free. There is no charge for parking in the Garden’s lots. Harvest Festival wristbands can be pre-purchased at the Garden’s Visitor Center. Dogs (with the exception of registered service dogs) are not permitted at the Harvest Festival.
