Tour Options

Daily Guided Tours
June 1 through September (weather permitting)
• Free with admission
• Tours depart from the Visitor Center
• No reservation required

Self-Guided Audio Tour
• Available all season in English and Spanish
• Includes 21 narrated stops throughout the Garden
• Free with admission — ask for info at the Visitor Center
• Produced by Sandpail Productions, voiced by Grace Angela Henry

Private Group Tours
Available May 1 through Oct. 10 (except Tuesdays)
• For groups of 10–30 people
• $15 per person
• Advance reservation required ($50 non-refundable deposit)
• Customized seasonal tours led by Garden staff/volunteers
• Bring a picnic or ask about boxed lunches from local restaurants
• Indoor dining available during bad weather

Guided Garden Tours
Led by experienced Garden Guides
• 45–60 minutes
• Up to 40 participants
• Stay afterward to explore on your own
Fees for guides:
• 11–20 people: $50
• 21–30 people: $100
• 31–40 people: $150

• Historic Herb Garden (est. 1937) — Over 100 herb varieties
• Procter Garden — A classic mixed border garden
• Pond and Rock Gardens — Featuring environment-specific plants
• Arboretum — Towering native and exotic trees
• Seasonal Displays — Including vegetables, bulbs, annuals, vines, grasses, perennials, and more
• Topiary Collection — Living sculptures shaped from boxwood, yew and arborvitae, framed by a copper beech hedge
