Welcome to the “magic hour,” after the gates close to the public, the shadows are long and the Garden takes on the soft, golden hues of high summer. Our Music Monday series of live concerts begins July 11 and continues through Aug. 29 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. featuring favorite performers from the Berkshires as well as headliners from the region:
11 — Gina Coleman & Misty Blues (blues-infused jazz, funk and soul)
18 — Mary Witt & The O-Tones (six-piece swing, soul and blues)
25 — The Greystone Quartet (original jazz compositions and pieces from the Great American Songbook)
1 – Zikina (East African folk music with flavors of reggae, rock and Caribbean dance beats)
8 — The Lucky Five (jazz band that blends 30s- and 40s-style swing)
15 — Union Jack (featuring the sounds of the 1960s British invasion)
22 — Robin Gerson Wong (performing music from the Great American Songbook, featuring music of Rogers & Hammerstein)
29 — Wanda Houston Band (40s, 50s and 60s R&B and jazz)
Bring a picnic, a blanket or lawn chairs, stroll the grounds, dance and be merry.
