Young Learner Programs

Berkshire Botanical Garden provides rich, new educational experiences for young learners through the Garden Sprouts program for toddlers, and the Roots, Boots and Shoots program designed for homeschoolers.

Garden Sprouts — Berkshire Botanical Garden’s Toddler Program

For children ages 3 - 5
Offered every Wednesday, 11-noon (No program offered in July.)

Garden Sprouts will help care for the garden and learn about the natural world through hands-on exploration. Flowers, planting, insects, and harvesting are just a few of the themes they will investigate. Sessions include activities such as crafts, stories, scavenger hunts, and nature walks designed to introduce young children to the wonders of nature in a fun and welcoming environment.

Garden Sprouts is for children ages 3-5 accompanied by a caregiver. This program is free for members. Registration is required. The program will take place outdoors as often as possible, but all or a portion of the program may be moved indoors if necessary.
