Join us on this exclusive tour of the Gardens of Barbados expertly arranged by Lani Summerville of Classical Excursions.

Trip Highlights

The trip will begin on Monday, February 3 at 6:00 pm to meet other trip participants for a welcome dinner and introductory lecture by Sir Henry Fraser, President Emeritus Barbados National Trust. The trip will conclude the morning of Friday, February 7.

Visit well-known public gardens such as Hunte's Garden, Andromeda Botanical Garden, St. Nicholas Abbey sugar plantation and rum distillery, and Orchid World & Tropical Flower Garden.

Enjoy exclusive tours of private gardens such as Halton Great House, the Fustic House and Garden of celebrated English painter and theatrical designer Oliver Messel, and privately restored Woodland Great House and Garden.

All gardens will be guided by either the property owners, horticulturalists, or other local experts, often with exclusive access to areas or information not offered during general visitation.

Accomodations for the group at the Tamarind Resort on the stunning west coast of Barbados beachfront. 

All breakfast and lunches are included. Group dinners on the first and last nights also included. An optional evening sunset cruise and snorkeling trip is available.
