Tovah Martin is an avid gardener indoors and outside and is the author of many gardening books, including The Garden in Every Sense and Season, which received GardenComm’s Gold Medal Media Award in 2019. A freelance writer, her articles have appeared in regional and national publications including Country Home, Martha Stewart Living, New England Home, Yankee and Gardens Illustrated. She is an accredited Organic Land Care Professional through NOFA, an honorary member of the Garden Club of America and the recipient of their medal for outstanding literary achievement. In 2013, Tovah received the Gustav Mehlquist Award—the highest honor bestowed by the Connecticut Horticultural Society.
